• Braking Friction: When the driver presses the brake pedal, the brake chamber pushes the brake shoes to expand, pressing the friction linings firmly against the inner cylindrical surface of the brake drum. The resulting friction slows down or stops the wheel, enabling vehicle deceleration or parking.

• Heat Dissipation & Wear Resistance: As a wear part, the material must offer good wear resistance and adequate heat dissipation to withstand the high temperatures and wear caused by heavy-load driving and frequent braking.
